This Privacy Policy applies to Chameloop Video Player, provided by Inkmal Solution. Chameloop is a local media player. It does not require an account and does not upload your video files to an Inkmal Solution server.
With your permission, Chameloop reads video media available through Android MediaStore or files that you explicitly open. This access is used to display your library, play videos, find nearby subtitle files and perform actions you request, such as rename, move or delete. Chameloop does not transmit the contents of your videos or subtitles to Inkmal Solution.
Chameloop stores app settings and local media-related information, including theme choices, playback position, last played video, favorites, pinned folders, subtitle choices, folder names and advertising frequency counters. Folder lock credentials, when used, are stored as a salted hash rather than as the original PIN. Media history and file-identifying metadata are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer by the app configuration.
Chameloop uses Google Mobile Ads to provide banner, native, interstitial, app-open and rewarded advertisements. Before requesting ads, Chameloop uses Google’s User Messaging Platform where required to collect or apply your privacy choices. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as the advertising identifier, app-set identifier, IP address, device information, diagnostics and interactions with advertisements to deliver, measure, secure and improve advertising. When Google requires a privacy-options entry point, you can reopen it from Settings.
Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Local information is used only to provide playback, remember your preferences, restore progress, organize the video library, operate folder and subtitle features, prevent excessive ad repetition and maintain app stability. Chameloop does not use your local video library to build an Inkmal Solution advertising profile.
Inkmal Solution does not sell your video files, media history or app settings. Local video and subtitle contents are not shared with Google Mobile Ads. Data may be processed by Google through the advertising SDK as described above, or disclosed when required by applicable law.
Video or storage permission is requested so Chameloop can find and manage videos on your device. Internet and network-state access are used to load advertising. Foreground-service and wake-lock permissions support ongoing media playback. You may review or revoke permissions in Android Settings, although some features may stop working.
Local settings remain on your device until you change them, clear app data or uninstall Chameloop. The Clear Cache option removes regeneratable thumbnails, temporary files, Continue Watching and all saved playback positions without deleting videos, favorites, folders, pins, locks or theme settings. You control the actual video files through Android or the app actions you initiate. Advertising data retained by Google is subject to Google policies and user controls.
Chameloop keeps media-related data in app-private local storage where practical and excludes sensitive media history from configured backups. Network data used by Google Mobile Ads is transmitted using encrypted connections provided by the SDK. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Chameloop is a general-audience video player and is not specifically directed to children. The app does not ask users to provide a name, email address or account profile. Parents or guardians may contact the developer at inkmalsolution@gmail.com if they have a privacy concern.
This policy may be updated when app features, advertising services or legal requirements change. The updated date shown above will be revised when material changes are made.
Developer: Inkmal Solution.
Email: inkmalsolution@gmail.com. For privacy questions or deletion requests relating to app data, contact us using this email address. Because Chameloop does not create user accounts or operate a media-upload server, clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes Chameloop local records from the device.
